As Creative Director for an Official Licensee of DEWALT, I manage a team of 8 in the creative design of products, packaging, displays, photo/video, online creative content and more. I take a hands-on approach to design and the creative process. I'm comfortable designing anything, shooting photos, giving creative feedback, or listening to others feedback. There's a lot of collaboration, processes and patience in developing products for big box retailers.
Amazon A+ content. These were all designed and laid out by myself and setup as templates. I worked with our copywriter to develop the copy and features. I oversee all the photography and even shot some of these images with my iPhone.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I oversee all the photography, onsite, on location and studio. I'll work on shot lists, storyboarding and coordinating the shoots. I'll even snap some pics with my iPhone which have been used numerous times in various assets. All images are taken locally with a local contractor. We always do "onsite" photoshoots in our warehouse and in office. We have an on sight photo/video studio. No models.

PACKAGING
I love designing packaging for various products, whether its retails facing or online packaging. The unboxing experience and the feeling of opening a new product should always be paramount. We also face the challenge of in-store shrinkage and do or best to innovate the packaging to offset that. I work with our domestic and overseas team to develop packaging, inner trays and master cases.

RETAIL DISPLAYS
We have various displays in thousands of retail locations around the world in big box retailers like The Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace, Walgreens, and more. I work with the team to develop in-store display solutions. We design and develop metal displays, spinners, countertop, corrugate and pegged in-store POG's. We have the in-house ability to produce physical prototypes and mockups.

I work with the design and development teams to create user manuals and quick-start guides. I laid this one out and used as a template for the team. We'll create the illustrations by tracing the product image in Illustrator. Then I work with the copy writer to layout the steps. We'll do some back and forth and then work with DEWALT to make sure all the guidelines have been met.
