Tactical Taco Tuesday
We were challenged with going outside the box and to come up with something that's unexpected and something different. I pitched the 5.11 Tactical Taco Truck. An actual taco truck that would have a menu, give away free swag, have a plate carrier taco challenge to do pull-ups to win free tacos. A total marketing and PR play for social media. The idea would be to show up as a pop-up taco truck / pop-up store at conventions, 5.11 retail locations, beaches, etc... We ended up doing Tactical Taco Tuesday with food trucks coming to our 5.11 retail stores as part of a way to increase brand awareness and foot traffic in our retail stores. #tacticaltacotuesday
